Terms of Service
ATELIER BLOOM TATTOO CO.
Terms & Conditions
Effective September 2025
1. Introduction
Atelier Bloom Tattoo Co. creates custom tattoo artwork designed to suit each client’s unique body and artistic vision. These Terms & Conditions outline the policies under which services are provided by Atelier Bloom Tattoo Co. and its artists, Madison and Alexander Adamson. By booking an appointment or receiving services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking, Deposits & Client Obligations
• A tattoo appointment is confirmed only when a non-refundable deposit is paid.
• Deposits secure studio time and custom artwork and are credited toward the final tattoo cost.
• By submitting a deposit, the client enters into a binding service agreement with the artist.
• Deposits may be forfeited if:
– The client cancels outside the permitted timeframe
– The client is a no-show or arrives more than 30 minutes late
– The client fails to provide required consent or accurate health information
– The project is abandoned (no response for 60+ days after contact)
Clients agree to:
✔ Provide accurate information regarding identity, health, and allergies
✔ Communicate respectfully
✔ Arrive sober and prepared for the session
Atelier Bloom may decline projects that are unsafe, offensive, or inconsistent with the studio’s artistic standards.
3. Conditions of Service & Studio Policies
• All procedures adhere to Pennsylvania health/safety regulations and industry hygiene standards.
• A Consent & Medical Disclosure Form must be completed prior to service.
• Service may be refused if the client appears impaired, disruptive, or unfit for tattooing.
• Only one guest may accompany a client; guests may be asked to wait in the lobby at the artist’s discretion.
• Anyone under 18 is not permitted in the procedure area.
• No photography or recording of procedures without artist approval.
• Clients may not touch work surfaces, equipment, or their fresh tattoo during the procedure.
The client acknowledges tattoo results may vary from mock-ups once healed.
4. Pricing & Artist Inquiry Policy
Atelier Bloom Tattoo Co. operates under a structured booking process to ensure clarity, respect, and ethical collaboration. Each artist maintains their own pricing based on experience, technique, and scope of work. Clients may not seek multiple quotes from different artists within the studio for the same or similar tattoo project. Once a consultation has taken place or a quote has been provided, all communication regarding that project must remain with that artist unless explicit approval is given to transfer the project. Any request for reassignment must be reviewed and approved by studio leadership before contacting another artist. Unapproved outreach to another artist—including apprentices or resident artists—may result in the project being declined.
Key Guidelines:
• Artist pricing is individual and non-transferable
• Price shopping within the studio is not permitted
• Project transfers require prior approval
5. Pricing & Payment
• All pricing is in U.S. Dollars (USD). Rates vary based on design complexity, placement, and time.
• Remaining balances are due the day of service before leaving the studio.
• A mandatory 3% processing fee applies to all debit and credit card transactions, including digital wallets linked to cards.
• This fee is non-refundable.
• Cash is accepted with no processing fee.
• Tips are appreciated but never required.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Design Changes
• Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 5 business days in advance to retain the deposit.
• One complimentary reschedule is permitted; additional reschedules require a new deposit.
• Major design revisions requested within 7 business days of the appointment may require a new deposit or date change.
• Complimentary touch-ups must be booked within the timeframe set by the artist or they will be forfeited.
• If communication ceases for 30+ days, the project is considered abandoned and the deposit is forfeited.
7. Age & Identification
• In compliance with 18 Pa.C.S. § 6311, clients must be 18 or older to be tattooed — no exceptions.
• A valid government-issued photo ID is required at every appointment.
8. Artwork Ownership, Photography & Media Use
• All artwork (including sketches, stencils, and completed tattoo designs) is the intellectual property of Atelier Bloom, and the artist who created them.
• Artwork may not be copied, altered, or tattooed elsewhere without written permission.
• Atelier Bloom may photograph tattoos and use images in portfolios, marketing materials, and social media unless the client opts out in writing before the appointment begins.
• Client identity remains confidential unless explicit consent is given.
9. Health, Aftercare & Assumption of Risk
Tattoos involve inherent risks including, but not limited to: pain, swelling, allergic reactions, infection, scarring, blowouts, fading, and dissatisfaction with subjective appearance.
Clients acknowledge and agree that:
• Healing results depend on individual skin biology and aftercare compliance.
• Atelier Bloom is not responsible for negative outcomes resulting from:
– Improper aftercare
– Failure to disclose medical conditions or allergies
– Environmental exposure or lifestyle choices affecting healing
• Touch-ups are provided at the artist’s discretion and do not include design changes.
• Clients must reschedule if experiencing illness or skin trauma near the tattoo site.
Clients release Atelier Bloom Tattoo Co., its owners, artists, and affiliates from liability except in cases of proven negligence.
10. Personal Property & Accessibility
• Atelier Bloom is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings in the studio.
• Clients should notify the studio in advance regarding accessibility or accommodation needs.
11. Communication & Dispute Resolution
• Booking and policy-related communication must occur via the studio’s approved channels (email, booking portal, or phone).
• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chester County, Pennsylvania.
12. Acceptance of Terms, Communication & Professional Conduct
By paying a deposit, the client confirms they have received, reviewed, and agreed to these Terms of Service. The deposit serves as an electronic acknowledgment of this agreement and will be attached to the client’s record.
Atelier Bloom Tattoo Co. values transparent and respectful communication. Clients agree to bring any concerns or dissatisfaction directly to the studio as the first step toward resolution. This ensures the opportunity for clarification, correction, or support before any public commentary is made about the studio, its services, or its artists.
Clients agree to maintain professionalism in any public communication and refrain from conduct that is harmful, misleading, or unfair, including but not limited to:
• Harassment, intimidation, or hostile behavior toward artists or staff
• Defamatory or false statements, including inaccurate claims presented as fact
• Rumor-spreading or public allegations made without first seeking resolution
• Posting confidential information, such as private communications or images of designs not yet tattooed
• Misrepresenting pricing, policies, or agreements with the intent to harm the studio
• Online campaigns encouraging others to avoid or target the business
• Malicious reviews written solely to cause reputational or financial damage
Constructive and honest feedback shared in good faith is respected. This clause simply ensures that communication remains factual, fair, and solution-focused.
Atelier Bloom Tattoo Co. is committed to professionalism, mutual respect, and good-faith conflict resolution — clients agree to uphold those same standards.
